Yoga Group

Classes

Traditional yoga practice was a one to one between the ‘Guru’ (Teacher) and ‘Shishya’ (student).

As times are changing, it’s become a group practice taking yoga away from its true essence. Therefore, I intend to keep my group size very small - class size never exceeds 5-6 practitioners.

A smaller group size ensures that I can teach better and you can learn even better. Group classes are aimed at building core strength through strenuous/challenging poses along with yogic philosophy to help you practice yoga off the mat.

But don't let 'challenging’ poses put you off, as I said earlier that the challenge is in the simpler things in yoga and not in turning upside down.

The group sessions are currently held online. Please see the schedule page for more details on timing.

"Sweta is the real deal; she teaches proper classic yoga, straight from the roots of India. I feel stronger and calmer after every class and I can’t get enough. With her warm personality, she inspired and helped me build up my confidence, to learn and achieve more that I never thought my body could do. She’s just amazing. "
