The meaning of yoga sounds perfect in textbooks but the challenge is to be able to incorporate the learnings from a yoga class into our daily lives.
 
As a certified yoga instructor (Barnes, London),my main aim isn't to teach you to stand on your head/hand - that's the easy part.

My aim, through my teaching, is to unlearn, to deconstruct. It’s going back to where we started from. To be able to stand straight in Tadasana (mountain pose), to be able to breathe deeper, to be able to understand our bodies better - that’s the challenging bit.
 
We don’t stop ourselves from falling out of poses in yoga instead we allow our body/mind to fall before we learn to master a pose. It’s overcoming the fear of falling that’s so important in my classes that it enables all the yogis at "yogashala4you" to gain physical/emotional balance and confidence.
